The Squadron II Euro Surf is a 14ft length rod with a design based upon European sea rods, the length is larger than most beach rods to help achieve effortless casting distance using simple overhead casting styles.
The 14ft has a rating of 4-6oz (113g-170g) and is an easy action 3 piece beach rod designed for general shore fishing on clean to light mixed ground. The graphite composite blank has a parabolic action which allows easy casting and the rod gives its optimum performance with a 150gm sinker plus bait. The rod is rung in such a way that it can be used with fixed spool or multiplier reels.
The rod is very attractively finished and as a look far in excess of its reasonable price. Lined K style guides a white glazed tip, screw winch reel seat and slim blank add to the rods appeal. The tip section is soft and supple to improve bite detection and is a bright white colour for better visibility.
